Sometimes when doing still life photography I feel more like an engineer than an artist. This shot was one of those times. All the elements were shot in one image. There was lots of rigging and pumps to move the water, tanks to catch it. Its all about problem solving. It helps that I lived near the water. I wanted the bottles to feel as if they were riding a wave that I see while photographing on the New Jersey shore.
